THE COACH
Twelve years in tech.
Medicated to survive it.
I was the first in my family to go to college. From there I went on to lead engineering teams at Mastercard and Etsy, two names that look great on a LinkedIn profile and do absolutely nothing for you at 2am when you can't remember why you started.
From the outside it looked like I'd made it. From the inside, I was burnt out, masking my ADHD, and quietly wondering if I'd ever feel at home in my own life. I was the safe pair of hands, the over-deliverer, the one who held it together. And it was breaking me.
So I left.
I'd spent six years in talk therapy. I had the language, the self-awareness, the insight. And I was still stuck in the same patterns. I knew my story inside out. I just couldn't seem to change it.
That's when I found Intuitive Psychology.
I trained as an Intuitive Psychology Coach with the IPA, accredited by the Association for Coaching, one of only eleven providers in the world at this level. I added that to my Diploma in Psychology. And then I built RíRá Coaching, the practice I wish I'd found years earlier.
THE MAT
10 years of Jiu-Jitsu 🥋
I roll several times a week and compete internationally. The mat has been my second classroom, the place that taught me what no meeting room ever could.
You cannot win the fight you refuse to step into. You cannot think your way out of being tapped. And the only way through discomfort is right through the middle of it.
I also coach a women's only Jiu-Jitsu class, because I know what it means to walk into a room where you're outnumbered and choose to show up anyway.
That athletic edge is part of how I coach. I will hold the vision for you even when you can't hold it for yourself.
